IGNOU RC Srinagar BLIS MLIS Internship 2023
The IGNOU Learners of BLIS & MLIS Programme registered for July-2022 session have internship as a compulsory component for completion of the programme. Accordingly, the Learners of these programmes are placed for internship at the LSC’s in the Government Degree Colleges. The list of the Learners pla-ced for internship in the Govt. Degree Colleges/LSC’s is uploaded on the website of Regional Center Srinagar for the information of the concerned Learners of BLIS/MLIS Programme.
They shall approach the Principal/IGNOU Coordinator at the respective College’/LSC’s before 25th January 2023 for registration. Those Learners who desire to undertake internship at any other organization, like, any District Library under the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, NIT Srinagar, SKUAST, IUST, etc, should obtain a letter of consent from that Institution/Organization/University, etc. Such Learners after obtaining the consent letter from the Institution/Organization/University, etc, should submit the same with an application addressed to Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Center Srinagar for approval to go for internship at that place.
The Learners shall be issued “Letter of the Reference” from the Regional Director to undertake the internship at that desired place. All the concerned Learners of BLIS and MLIS are informed to check the list of the BLIS/MLIS Learners and the place of Internship on the website of Regional Center Srinagar under the heading “List of Learners for the Internship of BLIS/MLIS Programme” and do the needful as directed.
